5 hanging tips for the babywoods wall dresser

Congratulations, if all goes well you received the wall dresser. The baby's room is almost finished with this piece of furniture! The baby can come. But what now, how do you hang it up? Here are the five best tips for mounting it safely on the wall.

What do you need? The 4 supplied plugs, bolts and washers, cordless drill, vacuum cleaner, tape measure and the mother-to-be and a pair of extra hands.

1. Choose a Solid Wall

Pick a solid wall where the chest of drawers will hang. Find out how to check here.

2. Determine the height

Determine the height of the chest of drawers. The point here is that when you place your baby on the dresser's changing mat your elbows are at a 90 degree angle. But how do you do that? Stand with your back against the wall and mark the bottom of your elbows. Then go down 7 cm and you have the line where you want the flap of the wall dresser. Draw two light lines with pencil. Make sure you are standing with your shoes or bare feet. Measuring with shoes with heels is not a good idea. This way you will be standing with a straight back behind the chest of drawers. Because you often put your baby in this position, it is certainly important that the chest of drawers is at the right height.

3. Draw the drill holes

Sign the drill holes. This is easiest when there are two of you. Unfold the wall-mounted dresser and aim the bottom of it at the imaginary line you just made. Now mark the 4 drill holes with pencil.

4. Drill the holes for

Use a cordless drill to drill the holes in the wall where the crankbaits will be inserted. Make sure you don't hit any pipes and put the plugs in. A vacuum cleaner is also useful for directly vacuuming up the drill dust. Use the four bolts and washers supplied with the dresser.

5: Hang the dresser on

Gum the pencil marks on your wall. Put the ring around the bolt, and turn it into the crankbait. With the dresser in between hey :) And do this 4 times.

Voila the wall dresser is hanging. Wish you a lot of dressing up fun. And when you hang the dresser up, I love it when you send a photo for our Lookbook.
