How our wall commodes are made

Sustainable wood

The wall-mounted changing table of babywoods also contributes to Dutch society. We do corporate social responsibility. All our wall commodes are made by a very special wood workshop. This is a special wood workshop. There are people working under supervision. They work here as a meaningful daily schedule. These people do this with a lot of passion and commitment. So that they are finally ready to join our society again.

 

 

Automated wood carvings

 

Of the three models, molds are made.

The molds create woodwork that is prepared as a puzzle piece.

We modeled the molds that fit into the boards of wood. To keep waste to a minimum during the cutting work.

 

The patterns are cut with a wood saw for optimal precision and speed, and bundled into individual

 

"packages" and forwarded to the wood workshop department to build.

 

The construction of the commode

 

Here the commode begins to take shape. Each changing table is carefully assembled using proven techniques.

 

Unlike most mass-produced furniture where each part of the furniture is assembled by a different person, our wall-mounted cabinets are constructed by the same person from start to finish.

 

 

Quality control finish

 

 

The wall-mounted changing table receives a final inspection to ensure that the material is baby friendly. The changing table is also checked for construction defects or other irregularities.

 

The baby furniture is provided with the Babywoods logo, coating and handle. After which carefully packed before it is shipped. Even the packaging material is locally produced. To keep the footprint of this product as small as possible.
